• How you view yesterday will affect your tomorrow.

o Titus 2:12-14

o We are to forget what is behind and press on to what God has for us.

o Your regret is to be left at the cross of Jesus. Today can be filled with anticipation or regret.

o When you look to what “might happen” you are essentially fortune telling.

o We need to reconsider our expectations of God for this life on earth.

• The way you look forward changes the way you live today.

• The judgement you’ll face is not what unbelievers will face. Your sins have already been judged, covered, and forgiven.

• How you look at tomorrow affects your today.

• Focus on these three time periods:

o Yesterday – fix your eyes on Jesus and his past work.

o Today – fix your eyes on Jesus and his current presence.

o Future – fix your eyes on Jesus and the coming reward.
