In this teaching, Brad explains from Hebrews 8:1-2 that the main point of Hebrews is Jesus sat down after providing purification of sins. The priest under the law of Moses could never sit down. They were always sacrificing animals for the forgiveness of their own sins and the sins of the people. Therefore, they always stood and preformed their daily and yearly sacrifices. Yet Jesus with one sacrifice for sins for all people and for all time sat down. Jesus sat down because through his sacrifice he secured for all time, for all people, and for all sins, eternal forgiveness and cleansing from sins.
