Topics include dealing with in-laws, burning dinner, losing socks, buying really big dogs or little kittens, and all the little moments that make up a life together. Originally originating as a script on The Kate Smith Show in 1941 it was expanded into a full summer series a month later. The show ran for 18 months beginning in Sept 1947 and included 390 episodes. I am inserting this into my SoundCloud podcast as a historical piece of audio that was broadcast over the radio, but just as importantly, I feel that the discourse in the United States at the present time... the talk of racism... the divisiveness that is being inserted into our country by the current Administration requires that we stop and take a look back 56 years ago ... and compare then to now... it seems that the current President and his party is intent on moving us backwards.

On the air from 1943-45, this series produced by ZIV Productions in NYC, did 78 episodes of "The Weird Circle"... many of the shows were radio adaptations from famous authors of the Victorian era.... Stevenson, Poe, Dickens and others. Intro to track has brief history of the series and then from 1944, it is "The Ghost's Touch" as one believes that as a person approaches death, they hear the voices of those that have gone before them....
