This circa 1953 episode stars Jack Mather as The Cisco Kid and Harry Lang as Pancho... this radio show originally began in 1942 with Jackson Beck as Cisco and Louis Sorin as Pancho. ..This series was heard on the Mutual Network until 1945. The series with Mather and Lang became a syndicated operation in 1947 producing 600 episodes until 1956. Some of you may remember Duncan Renaldo as Cisco and Leo Carrillo as Pancho in the 1950's TV series. (1950-56) Cisco's horse was Diablo and Pancho's was Loco. In 1994 a made-for-TV movie, The Cisco Kid, starred Jimmy Smits as Cisco and Cheech Marin as Pancho. Always a fun listen and often brings back memories for those of us who may have had Cisco toy guns and holsters... or a Cisco Kid lunchbox!

Victor Rodney Gook - played by Art Van Harvey, Sade Gook - played by Bernardine Flynn Rush Gook (their adopted son) played by Bill Idelson bring us two back-to-back episodes of the very funny Vic and Sade. They were known as "radio's home folk". Vic is an accountant... Sade is his wife and Rush is their adopted son. The live in the little house down the street and the show is all about ordinary things that happened to families in the early 1940's. Written by critically acclaimed comedy writer Paul Rhymer... its dialog is incredible and combined with some solid acting, makes up the entire show. John Bickerson suffered from a type of narcolepsy that involved some rather strange and disturbing snoring patterns and his wife, Blanche Bickerson… suffered from insomnia….mix the two together and, well, they don’t mix… they are more like oil and water… here from 1944 is The Honeymoon is Over ,,,the Valentines Day /Accident Insurance….done the Bickerson’s way….
