Lindsay MacHarrie is back with another episode of "Can You Imagine That?' He wrote and directed the production of this syndicated radio show with the simple goal of entertaining people. The format was much like "Ripley's Believe it or Not" ... stories of oddities, events, ... odd news items and historical pieces presented with narration and dramatization. Thirty-nine episodes were transcribed (recorded) and fortunately they have survived today, which is great because it gives us the opportunity to hear a very entertaining show from the 1940's.

Liz takes a liking to the neighbor, General Timberlake, and decides to invite him over to the house... it is then that Liz discovers she is now in the service with General Timberlake commanding! Funny sitcom with Lucille Ball and Richard Denning as Liz and George Cugat at this point in the series, but when band director and musician Xavier Cugat threated to file a lawsuit over the use of his last name, the Cugats became the Coopers! Good Show. Ran from July of 1948 until March of 1951 producing 124 episodes. Lucille Ball then left the series to begin a new TV series entitled "I Love Lucy" with her real life husband, Desi Arnaz.
