A syndicated program which originated from NYC in 1943 and ran until 1945 on NBC... The Weird Circle consisted of Horror, Ghost, and Suspense stories adapted from famous writers of the past. 78 Episodes were produced. The one you will hear is "The Bell Tower" from a short story by Herman Melville. Strange things are happening in an Italian Bell Tower that was built 4 centuries ago...strange and "Weird" things!

Captain Midnight is a U.S. radio adventure serial broadcast from 1938 to 1949. The title character, originally Captain Jim "Red" Albright, was a World War I U. S. Army pilot. His Captain Midnight code name was given by a general who sent him on a high-risk mission, when the aviator returned at the stroke of 12. Space Patrol was unique in that it was on radio and television, so it was one of the few shows that kids could follow in both mediums. Many of the story lines were the same and in fact the same actors who did the TV program, were on the radio. Ed Kemmer as Commander Buzz Corey of the United Planets Space Patrol. Cadet Happy, portrayed by Lyn Osborn as something like a futuristic Robin character from Bat Man. Often used similar lines... "Smokin' rockets, Buzz!" Virgina Hewitt played the female lead as Carol Karlyle, the daughter of an important leader of the United Planets and was in on all the adventures. The show ran from 1950-55. Abby Lewis stars in "Special Delivery" - an intense drama about a woman who is tormented by doubt and jealousy... and a letter she wishes she had never sent... This is #5 in the series, referred to as "Attraction 5" in the introduction. An extremely well-done drama from this anthology series that ran during 1948-50 on NBC Radio Network.

Basically this show makes a little bit of fun of Classical Music and Higher Education... but it is all in good fun and the music and comedy is very creative... this was a popular program in its day and still retains the energy today.
