  • Ep. 9: Kickstarter Promises Broken?

Update 9 has seeped into our very bones and it’s got us asking a crucial question: Did Hell Let Loose keep its kickstarter promises?

The research team has broken down the major highlights of the original pitch from the developers during their successful kickstarter campaign and we interview two early financial backers to talk about the wins and losses throughout HLL’s life. Is it fair to say that what was promised in the beginning isn’t exactly what’s been delivered? Is that for better, or for worse?

To help us break it all down are two of the longest serving veterans of the game and kickstarter backers, Grim13Geist (GrimGeist) and Dbl0Douche.  They bring us their unfiltered observations rooted in over +5000 hours of in-game time.

We have news, too, update 9 corrections and global competitive battles, including an official Dreamhack event for HLL.

Want to carry more of these conversations on with Inchon, Digishadow, or Dbl0Douche, ensure you follow their twitch channel and chat with them live.

  • Ep. 8: FPS Makes the Grass Grow and why .ini files were locked.

2021. It is the year of tank fixes, new maps, the Russian front. The year Hell Let Loose goes from a boy to a man.  Did update 9 progress us towards maturity?  This episode of Hell, Let’s Talk ranges from news the game would be out on new platforms and obviously, the drop of Update 9.

If you saw the year end financial statement from Team 17, you know there’s been some controversy over the revelation that the game would be rolling out onto Xbox and PlayStation.

And if you’ve been playing the game since last week, you’ve definitely noticed some not so great changes that have come from Update 9 - and maybe some good ones.  We focus in on:

    - .ini file changes by showing what was possible before locking

    - Debate resource node changes

    - How effective are the red zone garrisons

    - And many other topics

  • Ep 7. For the meme's

WOW! Is all we have to say about the end of the Winter Seasonal Tournament and the champions Exodus, who are our spotlight. Not only does WakandaPerhaps introduces us to their their community, but Ninjapulver walks us through their tactical map and explain their strategy in the final match on Saint-Marie du Mont.  They also present their favorite two memes, because it wouldn't be Exodus without some memes.

Melee is on its way to Hell Let Loose and it actually looks decent, but we go in depth on it this episode. We also talk offensive mode changes, micro terrain, game modes and map long awaited map changes and rework to the classic map, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont.  Finally Moscatnt is back to unveil his newest HLL cartoon live on the show in addition to his one-of-a-kind HLL spotter T-shirt.

  • Ep. 6: Lets Draw with Moscantnt

Episode 6 is for the content creators featuring special guest Moscatnt, Hell Let Loose resident artist. If you go anywhere near the Reddit for the game you’ve likely come across his work which is hilarious, professional, informative and telling. He cleverly captures the essence of the game in every piece he does. Like a political cartoonist, but for Hell Let Loose.

The team discusses the news this week too around how the game’s new admin cam will work and some initial feedback for Update 9's PTE.  On our Winter Seasonal tournament update the most intense final three minutes is broken down by Cdub and Digishadow as they lead a nail-biter against OC/KRT.  The cowbell is back for the Hero/Zero segment and a special thanks to God_sSs_end at the end.  Ensure you check out the bonus content for Moscantnt's drawing live.

  • Ep. 2: Good Riddance 2020 with Special Guest Wild Bill Jammin

In this year-end episode of Hell, Let’s Talk, we bring on the man, the myth, the garrison czar, Wild Bill Jammin as a co-host. Wild Bill makes incredibly hilarious and well thought out videos on YouTube all about Hell Let Loose. Don’t listen to him when he’s being modest on the show. If you haven’t already? Check. These. Out. He makes the best Hell Let Loose content out there.

In this episode, Wild Bill helps Dashthirty (filling in for Digi) and Inchon get through the circulating conspiracy theory about a 2021 Stalingrad map coming to the game as well as a little peek in the rearview mirror at HLL’s year. It was a big one, to say the least.

  • Ep. 1: What we want for Christmas and Santa came early with Patch 14

First off, apologies about the awful audio you’re going to hear from Inchon’s microphone in this episode. The issue was caught way too late and will be fixed for next time.  This show, Digi and Inchon get into everything from the nitty-gritty about smoke use all the way up to the meta at its highest level.

This Christmas special also features an interview with the two founders of the Hell Let Loose Training Camp, Abinus and GOD-sSs-END. They’re responsible for one of the many communities within the game and know Hell Let Loose inside and out.  We also ask the devs for what we’d like under our Hell Let Loose Christmas trees this year, talk about the latest news, and give our take on some of the fixes that have been implemented since Update 8.

Over 800 players are competing in the largest HLL tournament and "Hell, Lets Talk" has it covered. From tournament structure and tactics to teams and key week-1 match-ups, we've got it all right here in Episode 3. Key insights are provided by [HLLTC]Cdub8D, the Training Camp's chief organizer for competitions and (WTH)Heidegger, founder of team WTH.

Also covered is the achievement for HLL breaking into the top 10 games in Steam's worldwide sales and achievements for the players. Barb Wire impacts are discussed as well. And, of course, we give you the view-favorite segment Hero and Zero’s awards.  Finally, this week's musical shout-out goes to Lazyboi Dri for "Learn Chinese".

In honor of the massive influx of Asian players that just recently took place, we thought it'd be fun to give a warm, fun welcome to everyone. Lazyboi Dri is an incredibly talented up-and-coming artist from the far East, and we look forward to seeing more of him.
