February 27th, 2016 was a normal Saturday for 16-year-old Delaine Copenace. But somehow, a trip to the mall with her sister and friends would end in a search party for the missing girl. The heartbreaking result of discovering her body in the Lake of the Woods would solve nothing, but instead, only further compound the dark history and lack of solution in Kenora, Ontario. Still propelled for a need of reconciliation and unity, her family and community members still wonder what really happened to Delaine, and so many women like her, who await their answers of justice.
