President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were already planning to visit Atlanta as part of their ‘Help is here’ tour promoting the just-passed Covid-19 relief bill. But after eight people in the Atlanta area – most of them Asian American women – were gunned down amid a wave of anti-Asian violence around the country, Biden and Harris turned their attention to the AAPI community where help is needed.
