Originally from Binghamton, NY,  Cait Curley talks about the plant from the industrial perspective and uses of the plant. The former Irish dancer discusses moving out west and being inspired by a variety of experiences. She is an extremely passionate advocate of the plant and talks about the power of the people within the industry. The episode is taped from a remote location for the first time. She was a witness of the signing of the 2018 Farm Bill. NYHIA chapter president Aidan Woishnis also joined Cait and Brian for the informal conversation.

Bucky called in from Thailand where he is working yo establish relationships to bring CBD strain =s to these countries. The extensive conversation discusses an ethanol facility in Illinois, his experience in the music and clothing industries as well as simply keeping in shape. 

Brian Lane and Bob Pye interview Rochester's Zach Sarkis who is the founder of Hemplab in Rochester, NY. Zach talks about growing up skiing and enduring a serious injury as well as shows his passion for the cannabis plant. Zach has a unique perspective and talks about the state of agriculture on this planet. He also discusses how Finger Lakes Community College will be creating a cannabis degree. 

NYHIA president Aidan Woishnis joins Robert and Brian as they spent time talking about a variety of topics. Bob recaps a recent trip to a national park as well as past trips from Bob and Aidan. Aidan goes over the recent release of the USDA hemp policies slated to go into effect next year.  

Ira Fair of 21st Century Hemp joined host Brian Lane for a long discussion on growing the hemp plant in New York State. Fair is from Rochester and has NYS Agriculture and Markets Permit #5, having earned one of the original hemp growing license in New York. He has run both large scale and small operations and discusses the merits of both. 

Brian interviews Rochester's Brady Hamilton, Jarrod Van Orden  and Canadaigua's Johnny Delforte talk about moving to Colorado to explore the west through jobs at Cooper Mountain. All three earned positions at Cooper Mountain and talk about expectations leading up to the trip. The three talk about how they got into the sport, family and the desire to travel. Johnny also discusses being an extreme athlete in spite of a physical challenge. Notation: Brian ended up losing to Johnny's father in fantasy. 

Rochester's Zachary Johnson joins Brian and Bob to talk about becoming a professional boxer as well as competing in his first MMA bout for CES. Johnson also talks about traveling overseas to play semi-pro football as well as his other athletic endeavors. Zach has competed in two professional boxing matches and will be making his CES MMA debut on Oct. 25. 

Eric Miller of Hempire State Smoke Shop rejoins the podcast to discuss a modern day witch hunt with Brian and Bob. They discuss how lifestyles have changed and how they relate to modern day social issues. A large segment of the episode concerns the misguided war against the vape industry. The trio talk about the Sept. 25 announcement by the FDA not banning e cigarettes, contrary to several states current measures. They also discuss how Juul has been given access to New York through the current proposed ban to be able to monopolize sales for 90 days.
