If you're anything like me, you're doing much of that while also on the go. That's where this episode comes in full force. Today I'm sharing five of my favorite apps for running your henna business. These apps range from customer service to photo editing to organization and planning -- and they're all apps that I use on a daily basis. I think you're really going to love them!

Welp, I hope y'all are ready to hear me loud and clear from my soapbox because today, I'm running loose and filter free. In this episode, I'm sharing my thoughts on the unproductive comparisons and unhealthy competition found within the henna community. With the years under my belt as a henna professional, I've seen it all (and felt it all!) - the envy, the insecurity, the shade. Recently I witnessed an interaction between two artists that just made me shake my head, so here I am with my "get your lives right" soapbox delivery, Auntie Chelsea style.
Join in on the conversation! Have you ever felt this way towards another henna artist? Have you been recipient of this sort of behavior? How did you get through it? How do you think we can move beyond this as a community?

Recently I had a humbling and insightful conversation with my dad about the impact of my business ownership on my children. You see, my children have always grown up seeing me running a henna business, and that tends to inspire them towards business ownership as well.
After a conversation with my Middle Little (who is five years old) about business ownership, I spoke with my dad to share my excitement about her confidence and enthusiasm about owning a business. It was then that he gave me a solid and grounding reminder about how everything that I do as a business owner will inform her (and my other littles’) perceptions of business ownership. In this episode, I’m sharing the advice he gave me with you, too.

Today I closed the gap on one of my personal lifestyle goals - one that I honestly wasn't sure that I could reach - and I'm sharing all about it with you in this episode. You see, for me, making a shift from having just revenue goals to having lifestyle goals has made all the difference in how motivated and focused I am in my business. Listen in to how that change motivates me differently.

Recently a client shared with me about the mistake her previous artist made that not only annoyed her but ultimately lost them her business. In this episode, I'm giving you an inside look on how you can avoid making the same mistake - by putting your clients' experience first (and perhaps in a way that you hadn't considered before).
