John "Eddie" Edward Hendricks Jr., age 90, of Sandston, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Stephen Lee Hendricks. Aug. 11 is National 811 Day, which promotes safe digging practices to protect underground utility lines.   Dominion Energy Virginia encourages homeowners and contractors to call 811 and have underground utility lines marked before beginning any digging for construction or home improvement projects.
