Henrico County Public Schools is planning to hold outdoor, in-person graduation exercises in June for the Class of 2021 and will adopt all requirements for in-person graduations laid out by Gov. Ralph Northam, school system officials announced Wednesday. Henrico County reported 48 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, according to the Virginia Department of Health. The seven-day moving average continues to hover around 50 daily new cases reported. In the county, there were four new hospitalizations related to the virus, and two new virus-related deaths, according to VDH data. During the past week, Henrico has not reported many additional instances of outbreaks, according to the VDH.
