In this episode of Her Journey Home, I'm joined by mindset and identity coach Brooke Dawson, who believes perfectionism is a prison. Brooke shares how her background in psychology and speech pathology, and becoming a mother, led her to look closely at the words we use to describe ourselves and how those words shape our reality.
We talk about the stories that kept both of us small before we started our podcasts: "I'm not qualified enough," "I'm not good at communicating," and "I'm not the type of person who…" Brooke explains how growing up as "the smart girl" led her to quit anything that didn't come easily, and how she rewrote that identity one small action at a time.
If you've been stuck in an old story, waiting until you feel ready, or breaking promises to yourself, this conversation will show you where to start.

In this episode of Her Journey Home, I’m sharing the five lies that can keep us from using our voice, sharing our stories, and taking up space. After being terrified to share my own story during the beginning of my sober journey, I know firsthand how easy it is to convince ourselves that we need to be more qualified, more confident, or more prepared before we begin.
We break down the beliefs that keep us stuck, including feeling unqualified, waiting for confidence, comparing ourselves to others, feeling like we need to be an expert, and believing our story isn’t unique or important enough.
I also share how podcasting, social media, and simply taking action helped me build confidence and trust my own voice. Your story doesn’t need to be perfect, impressive, or extraordinary to make an impact. There may be someone navigating a season you have already walked through who needs to hear what only you can share.
What is one thing you’ve been afraid to say, share, or do because you’re worried about getting it wrong?
Don’t keep silencing yourself. Share your story, use your voice, and remember that there may be someone out there who needs to hear exactly what only you can say.
If you enjoyed this episode, like, rate, subscribe, and share it with your community so we can continue having these important conversations every week.

In this special birthday episode of Her Journey Home, I reflect on the biggest life lessons I learned from 32 to 33, from rebuilding my life and business to finding faith, trusting myself, and learning to surrender my timeline. After moving between California, Miami, New York, Guatemala, Mexico City, and Austin, I realized I had spent years searching outside myself for something that could only be found within.
I share what this past year taught me about decision making, faith, surrender, starting over, overcoming fear, friendship, personal growth, and refusing to settle for mediocrity. I also open up about why I believe fear isn't a stop sign, why sharing your story can be a responsibility, and how learning to trust God's timing has brought me more peace than chasing success ever did.
In This Episode, We Discuss
• Why most decisions are temporary and you don't need to fear making the wrong choice
• How faith and surrender helped me navigate a rebuilding season
• Why revisiting places, people, and experiences can sometimes rewrite your story
• Why fear isn't a stop sign and how taking action builds confidence
• Why sharing your story can create an impact far beyond yourself

In this episode of Her Journey Home, I talk about how your environment, friendships, community, and the people you surround yourself with can shape your personal growth, identity, sobriety, business, and future. I share honestly about how changing my environment helped me transform my life, leave behind old patterns, and become the woman I knew I was capable of becoming.
I also share my journey from sobriety and changing my friendships to moving to Austin and intentionally creating an environment that supports the life and business I want to build. If you've been feeling drained by the people around you, stuck in an environment that no longer fits who you're becoming, or ready for a fresh start, this episode is your reminder that you have the power to choose differently.

In this episode of Her Journey Home, I sit down with Ona, a psychic advisor for entrepreneurs, to explore the powerful connection between self expression, intuition, authenticity, and business growth. Her Journey Home is a storytelling podcast for women in the midst of becoming... navigating identity shifts, self-trust, spiritual growth, and the courage to be seen.
This is a space for the…
Here, women from around the world share honest stories of breaking, rebuilding, sobriety, reinvention, spiritual awakening, heartbreak, healing shame, and remembering who they truly are. The quiet transformations. The pivots no one saw coming. The moments that changed everything.
Alongside intimate guest conversations, host Sophia Noelle Graniela, a Self Expression Guide & EFT Practitioner, shares solo episodes on self-expression, finding your voice, rebuilding in your 30s, overcoming fear of being seen, and learning how to trust yourself again.
Through reflection, storytelling, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping), Sophia explores how healing and visibility intersect and why expression is one of the most powerful forms of self-trust.
Sophia also guides women in turning their lived experiences into powerful conversations through podcasting, helping them use their voice, share their stories, and create platforms that make other women feel less alone.
This podcast is for women who:
• Feel like they’ve outgrown old versions of themselves
• Are rebuilding after heartbreak, burnout, or life transitions
• Struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing
• Feel “too much” — too sensitive, too loud, too emotional
• Want to start speaking, creating, or sharing their story
• Are craving deeper alignment and emotional freedom
Whether you’re navigating sobriety, spiritual awakening, identity shifts, friendships in your 30s, or simply learning how to stop filtering yourself, each episode invites you to come home to your own voice.
Her Journey Home is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you to shrink.
It’s about healing shame.
Rebuilding self-trust.
Letting go of who you were.
And becoming the woman you’re meant to be.
Because when one woman speaks, another feels less alone.
Welcome home.
