Liz Levine is an award-winning producer and author of the newly-released memoir, Nobody Ever Talks About Anything But the End. In her memoir, she shares her experiences of losing her first love and best friend Judson to cancer, and her sister Tamara's mental illness and eventual passing from suicide. The book is a moving, raw and honest perspective on grief, mourning, and loss, and I was happy to connect to have an open and honest conversation on a subject many of us often shy away from.
The episode does touch on the topics of suicide, mental illness, cancer, loss and grief, and while it’s a dialogue I’m enthusiastic to share, do pass on it if any of these topics are triggering or could hinder your own mental health. If you are in immediate crisis, call 911.
