It was amazing to chat to Permaculture legend and Gardening Australia presenter - Hannah Moloney. We nerded out on growing food in cold climates, community-spirited action to foster climate hope and her recent month of busily promoting her brand-new book: Good life growing, available now at all good bookstores around Australia and online.

Had Wade Willcocks from Wandering distillery into the studio for a fascinating chat about all things gin.
Wade is responsible for creating an award-winning selection of WA-produced gins with ultra-unique flavours sourced from the Australian bush, such as the citrussy taste of Lemon myrtle and the savoury tones of native river mint and native thyme.
The foodies will get a kick out of listening to Wade and his story.

GARDEN NERDS!
EXTREMELY special podcast dropped, for your listening pleasure.
A whole day of chats with Sam and the absolute who's who of gardening and horticulture in Australia. I feel insanely lucky.

This day was about 4 weeks in the making and was somehow simultaneously the best and most stressful experience of the year.

Very enjoyable and informative chat with the awesome Diago of Thefunguywa.

Diago cultivates choice mushroom varieties on his business premises in Morley, pumping out grow-boxes of predominantly Lions mane and oyster mushrooms, just to name a few. 
Diago's wonder and enthusiasm for all things fungi is contagious and in addition to the edible varieties, we found ourselves talking about many other wondrous facets of fungi, including the cancer-fighting power of Turkeytails and the cognitive benefits of consuming lion's mane fungus.
