Hercules was Disney's aggressively stylized, gospel-infused, pop-myth remix of the Greek legend. It also under-performed in the eyes of the studio and is often seen as one of the lesser entries in the Renaissance. Like any Disney movie, it has its fans, but why isn't it better remembered?
