Here For Now

This week, episode 12, I talk with Anton Krupicka. 

Anton is an all around mountain athlete with a unique perspective on ego and external validation. We dive into his experience with higher education and the aesthetic of dissonance. We also talk about riding bikes and how profound moments of life clarity can really sneak up on you. 

This week on Here For Now, Lilah Strauss. Lilah is a freelance creative producer and all around badass. Lilah and I talk about creative work in a corporate setting versus that same work in freelance settings. We discuss the agency freelance work gives you to set boundaries and stick up for yourself. Lilah also shares about how a serious injury changed her perspective on life.

Rudy, is a photographer, artist and musician based near Chicago. Rudy shares about how he got to where he is now. We talk about the importance of tangible projects. We also talk about some of the music he’s made though creative limitations.

Chad is the owner and creator of Corvid Cycles. Chad and I sat down at his one car garage shop to talk about his journey turning his passion for bikes into his career. We discuss Chad’s perspective on being a sometimes creative person. Chad also shares about his aspirations for creating positive change and equality within and outside of the bike industry.

Zoë is a writer, elite runner and host of the DNF podcast. 

Zoë and I talk about the challenges of social media platforms. We discuss her mission as a creative individual. And we touch on compassion, and ways we can use compassion for better communication.

My guest this week is Brendan Davis. Brendan is a photographer and filmmaker based in Colorado. We talk about the innocence of youth and whether or not we have much innocence left.
