HFTM Episode 12: 5/23/2021

This is the first of two episodes we are recording before Nick and Steve go on vacation, there will be a week break in between episodes. Today we wanted to introduce something new we’re trying called “Community Spotlight” where we share and promote the writings and works of members of our community. The first one under the spotlight is Jeremy Williams, an executive principal working in Dubai. He wrote an article about NFTs and utility, or their lack thereof. We love to collaborate with our community members and we hope to continue this community spotlight every week. There isn’t much Top Shot news to report on but the NBA Playoffs are here, so who knows what we will see in the coming weeks. There might be a pack opening as well, if you’re into that sort of thing.

HFTM Episode 11: 5/19/2021

Coming to you on a Wednesday but recorded on Sunday (don't tell anyone). This is the first episode published with our new schedule, one episode on Wednesday and another on Sunday. The Sunday episode will be the news and any information on new sets or pack drops, the important stuff. The Wednesday episode is going to be more light-hearted with some market analysis and off-topic conversations. How many Ben Simmons Cool Cats will end up being minted, 5,000, 10,000, one million? When can I go to a Sixers game and use my Top Shot account to get a discount on a hot dog, when will that happen Top Shot? We need answers and we need them now. Have a great rest of the week everyone, "Hustle and Show" drop 2 is tomorrow and then there's another reservation pack on Friday. The Play-In tournament has started and the NBA Playoffs are coming, excitement is in the air.

HFTM Episode 10: 5/16/2021

We made it to ten episodes, thank you to everyone who has supported us along this journey. Top Shot has introduced Showcase Quests, giving more utility to your moments. Those Seeing Star Moments you forgot about are forgotten no longer, if you have the necessary moments you can earn yourself an exclusive Ben Simmons. It will be interesting to see what these Showcase Quests turn into and how many people end up completing them. The recent “Throwdowns” drop has got everyone talking about EV and asking whether their pack is going to be +EV or -EV. We at Here For The Moments think that you shouldn’t put too much stock into EV calculations and collect what you want, but to each their own. It seems like overnight the Top Shot community has been turned into...apes. Bored Ape Yacht Club seems to have taken over our Twitter feed, one might say they’ve gone bananas. Own The Moment is our go-to resource for anything and everything Top Shot related. All the data you could ever want or need in one convenient location. We’re also talking about Top Shot’s plans to release Series 1 moments with the introduction of trade tickets. If there’s something that Top Shot has taught us, it’s that there’s always something new coming right around the corner. It only begs the question...what’s next?
