I was 33 when I walked out of my first International Missions Operations

Committee meeting when Bill Morrow (name dropper, I know) said to me,

"It's good to have a younger guy at our table, you know...someone whose

leadership is ascending." After Googling "ascending" to make sure I

hadn't just been dissed by the Gen Supe, I wondered why 33 was

considered young and why I was still ascending. By that age, many of my

risky notions or radical ideas had been deflated by the reality

of everyday life, practical planning, and common sense. In a brand new

road trip edition of the Here & There Podcast, I had the chance to

ask 12 truly young (late teens/early twenties) and ascending leaders

from Master's College & Seminary what they thought about the future

of global work. It might be time to invite a few of them to our tables.
