Main Point: Being involved in biblical discipleship is a Christian’s only way to live for God’s glory. 

Introduction:

Why should we be interested in Biblical discipleship? The most important information in the history of humanity has been entrusted to Christians to make known to others.

Biblical Discipleship - Process of producing Christ followers who look more and more like Jesus.

What is the vision for Biblical Discipleship ?  God can save many as we invite people to experience God through worship and encourage them to commit to growing spiritually.

Versículo Clave: Por nada estéis afanosos, sino sean conocidas vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acción de gracias.  Filipenses 4:6 

Punto Principal:    Teniendo una atitud de gratitude, especialmente durante tiempos dificiles, honra y glorifica a Dios.

Gratitud nos protege contra sentimentos de envidia, resentimiento, codicia y descontentamiento

Main Point: An attitude of gratitude, especially when life is difficult, honors and glorifies God.

Gratitude keeps us from feelings of entitlement, envy, discontentment and resentment

Introduction: Sometimes it’s easy to be thankful…, but sometimes it’s not… and it is in those times that we need courage to express our gratitude like Daniel.

Versículo Clave: Amados, ahora somos hijos de Dios, y aún no se ha manifestado lo que hemos de ser; pero sabemos que cuando él se manifieste, seremos semejantes a él, porque le veremos tal como él es.  1 Juan 3:2 

Introduccion

Romans 8:12-17     12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Living out our new identity in Christ means:

1. Learning to deal with the flesh 

2. Looking for the work of the Spirit in us
