This Sunday marks the start of a four week Advent Series culminating in our Christmas Service on the 24th of December. This will be an especially evangelistic series so please invite friends and family. The theme is, ‘Why Was Jesus Born?’ This Lord’s Day we see that Christ came to find us in our lostness and our ignorance.
After Peter’s spectacular failure in denying the Lord three times, the Lord Jesus restores him before the disciples. This Lord’s Day, we will examine this restoration and see what it reveals to us about God’s grand work in the world in and in us.
It has been said that what one thinks about God is the most important thing about a person. In this sermon we consider Paul’s evangelism to Athenians who have varied and incorrect ideas about God.
The end of the year provides a time of reflection on how the year has been. In this sermon we will consider those contemplations that are excellent and glorifying to the Lord.
Our attitude when faced with a correction in our understanding of God’s Word reveals much about us. In this sermon we consider two of the three groups where the Gospel arrived in Acts 17 and what we can learn from their responses.
As Paul and Silas set out on the second missionary journey, they encounter a number of different people and challenges in the proclamation of the gospel.
