Heroes and Villains podcast

this is episode two of a two part series about Deadpool.

This week Bruce completes another multi-part epic journey, this time exploring the "Merc with a Mouth" Deadpool. The unexpected box office success has shown that the masses have an appetite for the character, but his comic book roots have a winding story that many casual fans may not know about.

This week Bruce talks about the synthezoid Avenger, The Vision. Created by Ultron from the body of the original Human Torch with the brain patterns of Wonder Man, The Vision became a singular hero in his own rite. He fell in love with the Scarlet Witch and survived many an existential crisis while struggling with the question, "what does it mean to be human?"

This week Bruce talks about one of the more bizarre concepts from DC's War comics, The Haunted Tank. This is a high concept comic about a World War II tank that is haunted by the ghost of a confederate general from the American Civil War, and it just happens to be crazy enough to work. Over the years the concept was re-imagined to better fit in an updated version of the DC universe, but one thing is constant - a Tank that is haunted is a crazy idea!

He was resurrected when Superboy Prime super punched reality and became an anti-hero known as the Red Hood. Bruce had so much to say that he couldn't fit it all into one episode.
