They totally ditched Rey’s dark side portrayal and this trailer was her “Hero” trailer essentially. - feels like a fractured thread that will lead fans feeling unsatisfied/unless the movie is great then we won’t care.
There are so many of the old Imperial class star destroyers instead of the First Order Resurgent class. B-wings, but also this battle takes place in the present time. Or Poe Dameron is riding horse aliens with BB8 in the past.
Emperor Palpatine is in a walker like chair. I think they are just going to try and make the last 2 movies the Emperor's grand plan.
It has an epic scale. Truly the END of the war will be the movie.
ESPN and Disney hyping it up as a MNF sneak peek was funnier than anything in the trailer.
Jeffery Wright is Comm. Gordon. I think an excellent pick
Andy Serkis is going to be Alfred. He is a great actor, but IDK about the calm and witty Alfred. His role is much better suited to the character he played in Black Panther. WOW Marvel did it better again.
Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman is fine. Not much to say I think she will do well with that character.
Colin Farrell as The Penguin. I’m calling it now, Danny Devito did it better.
Paul Dano as The Riddler. I think a good casting…. But Jim Carrey did it better.
Quick take on Dark Phoenix - 34:50
BOOOOOOO-ring. Why did they make this film? Because they wanted to capitalize on the fame and stardom of Sophie Turner AKA Sansa Stark.
I literally said, “BITCH you are in space! How are you not dead?”
I honestly am not sure if I should hate Dr. X for what he did to Jean, or if I should be sympathetic. Movie made it split I think for several reasons, but Beasts attack on him when they were drinking after Mystiques death was stupid and pointless. Also, thank god Mystique is dead. Except what about continuity with the original Xmen trilogy?
Best scene was the train car fight at the end. Aliens were incredibly boring and generic and so at least they got to die in creative ways as the Xmen showed of their powers.

A little underwhelming. Idk, I have to watch it another 10 times, and how it fits into the rest of the show. Too happy and upbeat to be honest. I loved Rick’s unwavering hate and abuse of Morty because it was funny and the crux of their relationship. If that changes to a more positive one between the two then I think the show is dead. Where is my Sezchuwan sauce???
I did love Rick’s arc as he was killed multiple times and came back to facist versions of himself. That part was hilarious. And the return of Mr. Meeseeks!
Still had plenty of funny moments and was the classic style of a smart, well-made sci-fi animated show.
Arthouse film with a AAA pedigree. Beat Deadpool as the most profitable R rated movie ever.
Did it need to even be linked to the DC universe? Yes, if it wanted to be commercially successful.
21st century Taxi Driver. Joaquin Phoenix was great. Visuals were excellent. Music was interesting as it would carry the film for long periods of time. Movie was very slow until the end. Then it was awesome. Last act of the film was magnificent.
