We stepped off our first voyage on Disney's Galactic Starcruiser one year ago on 3/17/22. In this episode, we talk about the decision to go on that first voyage and our intial chats about starting the podcast.

We also chat about our upcoming meetup, our characters for voyage 3, and about Disney's recent announcement to switch to 2 cruises a week starting in October.

We had a fabulous conversation with Phil from HE Creative. Phil has achieved a bit of a fame on Instagram - 98000 followers! - for their unique retro & music inspired art & illustrations.

We were able to chat with Phil about their inspiration, their love of Star Wars, and how the Halcyon was special for them.

Justin chatted with us about 501st Legion and how his love of costuming, cosplay, and Star Wars culminated in his joining this band of "Bad Guys Doing Good". Naomi discussed how travel advisors/agents can help you with the administrative chores of reserving your Galactic Starcruiser voyage.

It is - by definition of course - impossible to have a perfect voyage. There are too many elements that overlap or coincide or flat out are incompatible with one another. Ah - corporate synergy.

At the opening of both Galaxy's Edge & the Galactic Starcruiser experience, Disney & Marvel released comic book series that wove both familiar and new characters into the lore around each.  These comic books series enhance your Galactic Starcruiser voyage by helping to fill in pieces of the canonical lore about our favorite ship and location in that galaxy far, far away.

In this episode, we are joined by Mike Celestino, the lead Southern California reporter and editorial director of Star Wars content from Laughingplace.com, as we take a look at each comic series and discuss what they bring to the Star Wars canon.

We'll be releasing a detailed synopsis of each issue in these series next week. We don't spoil any major story beats in this episode for either the comics or the Galactic Starcruiser experience.
