We have a very special episode in store for you - I had the pleasure of interviewing my Grandma, Marie Anjard. First, she starts every morning saying "Today I am in charge of how I feel and I am choosing happiness".
I personally appreciated her thoughts on why we are so divided today: because we don't have unconditional love. We have love for those who think and act like we do and we have to stop that. She always says "You like somebody because... but you love them even though...".
Don't forget when you have bad days, be grateful when you're good and graceful when you're not. You're whole life, you just have the attitude of gratitude. Her mom taught her that in life, you shouldn't let anyone drain your spirit.
Last, you have the power to make your life what you want it to be. God's light surrounds me and His power protects me. Where ever we are, God is. Enjoy this special episode! *Recorded in 2021*.

Fifa moved to the United States from Singapore in December of 2010 to pursue Veterinary school. Her passion to be a vet started back when she was in high school and she has saved 123 animals to-date. at first, she was scared to interview for school, and she wouldn't be in the United States if it weren't for her dad believing in her dreams!
Her first impression of the United States was how friendly and welcoming people are - and her thoughts on that have not changed. She loved how kind everyone was and how easy it was to compliment others out loud. At first, she was afraid that she would be discriminated against but she never had that experience and she said, "People here are very accepting of diversity and wanted to hear about my background - they were curious and there's nothing wrong with being curious!".
Throughout her 10 years in the US, Fifa never had any doubts about her dreams. Her advice to others who are uprooting their life and moving to a different country, state, house, or going through a big milestone in their life is to "reach for the stars but stay rooted in the ground". Identify what makes you YOU and the background that you came from will keep you humble and will also provide you motivation! The fact that we can pursue our dreams in the US is a real privilege and the more you give to others the more you receive.
We hope you enjoy Season 3 Episode 2 as much as we do! To reach out to Fifa directly, you can send her a DM on Instagram @fifafofum.

Have you had any fear about job security the last few months? If so, you're not alone! Our featured guest for this episode is Molly who actually transitioned jobs here in the last couple of weeks. It took a great deal of courage and research to see what the job market was for her line of work (a speech pathologist).
In addition to her advice on how to tackle career changes head-on during this time, you'll hear her talk through how she stayed focused and worked towards positive energy. More specifically, she has hope for the future! Although we get thrown new information every single day, Molly advises us to not let ourselves become victimized by the situation and to not let your professional self go! She says, "Don't forget, we can't control what happens in the world but we CAN choose how we react". The specific tasks she recommends to stay focused and collected is doing our daily duty consistently by asking 3 simple questions:
1) Did I pray today?
2) Am I in a state of grace?
3) Was I a good sister, co-worker, roommate, girlfriend, etc.?
To learn more about Molly you can find her on Instagram @molly.kilduff. We hope this episode helps you find both courage and hope for the future!
