Danielle Kaplan is a speech-language pathologist and movement specialist. She grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has a research MA in Communication of Traumatic Brain Injury. Upon immigrating to Toronto, Canada, with her husband Stephen, she worked in acute teaching hospitals for over 20 years across the Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Spinal injury areas dealing with cognition, language, and swallowing disorders. After then gaining a certification in Pilates, Personal Training (CanfitPro), Ballet Barre, and Rehab Exercise Specialization, she opened her own Pilates/movement studio and currently teaches classes online on Instagram. She is married to Stephen and has two adult children, Josh and Gabi. This is Danielle’s first memoir. Her book “ I Married a Thrill Seeker” is on Amazon.ca, available for preorder, and soon to be available in Indigo and other bookstores as of November 22nd. She can be contacted at [email protected].
