This month has been a real sour note on the 2021 season so far, with numerous tracks along the east coast being affected heavily by the amount of rainfall we've had in the month of July. We've missed talking with you guys about racing, so to get everyone excited for a truly great race coming up, we talk with our original guest, Craig Rice, about the Papa Ray Rice Memorial race coming to New England Dragway on July 24. Also, we have our first team outing of the season at Bristol, Tennessee for the kids, bounty program and technical glitches as part of our discussion today.

Some of these drivers have waited since July 8, 2019 to get another crack at a national event Wally boasting Epping's name and NOW we are finally here. The 2021 running of the NHRA national event at Epping comes to town this week and we brought a plethora of guests to give us some of their insight to the upcoming weekend and their own racing careers. By far, our longest episode thus far on the podcast and with the most guest speakers. We'll come back next week and break it down, hopefully with some racer spotlights with winners at the national event this weekend but we're bringing lots of stories with some local favorites at this week's upcoming event. AND you get to listen to someone other than me! Time stamps below, sportsman eliminations start on Saturday, June 12 first thing in the morning and we wish the best of luck to our racers this weekend!

No race results to report, unfortunately, but we still have plenty of new content for all of you! A new racer spotlight segment with Pro ET and Super Street driver Joe Henderson as he gives us some insight to his racing career, his season up to this point, and the future of Henderson racing. We also talk about how weather delays effect racing and what promoters and race officials can do to help us, the customer, make the most of our time. We look forward to the next 2 weeks talking about the NHRA national event and even mention a neat find we had relative to a NHRA class this week.
