Evan Rachel Wood is an actress known by many for her film and tv roles such as Thirteen, Westwood, Practical Magic, and many others.
In her teens, after starring in Thirteen, she became labeled as the “troubled one” and soon found herself in the hands of the REAL troubled one: Marilyn Manson. I think we all knew that they were once an item… Evan, a cherub-faced teen and Marilyn, a dark and shocking rock star. But what we didn’t know, was what went on behind closed doors.
Phoenix Rising is a two-part documentary created by Evan in which she tells her story as a survivor of domestic abuse and how she is now on a journey to pursue justice, heal generational wounds, and RECLAIM HER STORY.
In our next episode, we take a deeeeeep dive into Phoenix Rising (presented in a storybook-like fashion, resembling that of Alice in Wonderland) and discuss our thoughts and feelings about Narcissism.

I was looking forward to watching "The House of Gucci" after reading the book by Sara Gay Forden (which was great) the movie let's just say was hard to watch. Ridley Scott's 2021 film adaptation of "The House of Gucci" by Sara Gay Forden could have been a brilliant re-telling but in the end turned out to be a recipe of disaster. The movie felt as if each actor was on their own island and no one was connected. Maybe it was the editing, maybe it was the acting, maybe it was the directing. All I know is the movie fell short of my liking.
