Hey Beauty...

Hey Beauty...

WOW...first official episode of the Hey Beauty Podcast and I have no effing clue what I'm doing here LOL Well I do, but I don't.

I've known for a while I wanted to bring my podcast back but my little perfectionist was stalling me waiting for the "right" time and to have everything "figured out" BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...truth be told the last year and a bit in my world has completely thrown me for a loop and it took me some time to reorient myself (more on this in a future episode) but what I wanted to bring forward for you today was to remind you...

Pay attention to what's catching your attention!

Not every idea or insight requires a huge plan or purpose - you could simply be noticing it to experience something new in this moment. The little perfectionist in you will want to have everything all planned out before you let yourself play in it - but my episode today is evidence that you don't need to know - and you do get to move with what's flowing through you right now.

I may not know the topic of the next episode, but I do know that I'd love to get to know you better - so c'mon over to Hey Beauty HQ and introduce yourself in our private hotline chat when you subscribe for free!

I'm not sure when you'll hear from me next (right now the "plan" is for next week but who knows - it may be sooner than that 🤣) but don't be shy - let me know if this episode activated something in you - I'd love to hear from you!

Admit it...you DO give a fck right??? So often we're told to just "not give a fck" about what people think when we are showing up in our brand and business...but it's not that simple, BECAUSE WE DO GIVE A FCK!!!

This episode is a live conversation I had on my IG around the IDGAF Paradox!

The real, raw, gritty truth of my journey BTS as I let go of becoming "HER" so I could fully accept and own me. This conversation is my personal experience of how my drive to become the higher level version of myself was radically disrupted and how I'm leading myself through the changes of my business since "burning it to the ground" in early 2023!

I would love to here what this convo brings up for you, so please feel free to share with me in my DMs on IG (@iamkarirussell) or you can always email me at [email protected]

Your low-fi ego is a sneaky bitch and has many ways she surfaces to protect herself and you from being seen ...today's episode was recorded over 2 days as I had a major epiphany after the original recording and had to record a second part to express the fullness of this conversation! Take a listen and let me know what comes up for you!

Judgement has gotten a bad wrap in the online space and I want to offer an unconventional perspective of what judgement actually is AND how you can use judgement to better understand yourself at deeper levels. Because beauty, it doesn't matter how much inner work or journaling you do, you'll never clear the fear of judgement...beause it's not a fear, it's a fact...you will be judged...and dare I say...you will judge others. But give this episode a listen to see what's in it for you and how you can leverage this fact instead of hiding behind it as a fear.

Holy wow...last episode of season 1...how did that happen!!! 25 episodes over the last 6 months and don't worry, we're not going anywhere, we'll be back in the new year, but I'm spending the next few weeks in full celebration mode of the opening of the STUDIO Membermind in January! 2023 was a BIG year for me...and I share some of the lessons I learned (another more in-depth episode will come in season 2) AND I share some reflective prompts for you to look back and celebrate what this year provided you!

Have an incredible last week of 2023 and I'll speak with you next year!

Kari xoxo
