"Hey, Heather!"

Heather Meyer has gone from opera singer to aerial circus performer — and now she sometimes does both at the same time, singing while suspended in the air.

This Heather also talks about:
• Her job in the wine industry
• Walking away from traditional opera after feeling like singers had become “cogs” with little creative say
• Finding circus as a way to get back in shape without setting foot in a regular gym
• Writing her own one-woman show and why she wants to keep taking her performances and workshops on the road

This Heather also talks about:
 • Eighteen years of clogging, a fifteen-year run judging it, and why she wishes it were called anything else
 • Her son's boating accident three weeks before his 21st birthday, and what he said when the surgeons asked him
 • Carrying a baby for two dads in New York at 43 — and what her own family had to say about it
