  • Episode 19: Patrick Michael

Many things can inspire a person to do what they do and that is the basis for this particular interview. Patrick is the host of the channel known as "Have Cheetah will View," and through his channel, he has interviewed hundreds of people. It was also through Patrick and his channel that I was inspired to interview people myself.

I sit down with Patrick and discuss the many things that come with being an interviewer on YouTube, both positive and negative. How does his find his interview subjects? What happens when one cancels at the last minute or even no-shows and lies about their explanation? Who was the most interesting person interviewed?

Many more subjects brought up in this informative interview including his frustrations as a YouTube content creator, his love for the community of people in his circle, and even his interaction with actor Crispin Glover!

  • Episode 18: Lauren-Marie Taylor

Lauren-Marie Taylor always wanted to be a veterinarian. However things changed very early in her life while on stage, performing in a production of "Oklahoma." After being seen by a talent agent, she starred in television commercials until 1981 happened.

That year she played the role of Vickie in Friday the 13th Part II: the sweet innocent girl next door who was trying her best to show off her "bad" side and seduce the character of Mark, all before being slayed by Jason Voorhees.

There is much more to Lauren-Marie than just her time in Crystal Lake and we're going to discuss that as well. What was it like working with Dan Akroyd and John Belushi in Neighbors? How is it transitioning from film to being on a soap opera for twelve years? And how did her comeback to acting happen, starting with the horror film In a Violent Nature?

All that and so much more in this fun and entertaining interview!

  • Episode 17: Beatrice Boepple

Acting has always been a passion for Beatrice and in 1989, she entered horror history by landing the role of Amanda Krueger, mother to the iconic slasher movie villain Freddy Krueger, in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.

Although Amanda Krueger may be the role Beatrice might be known for, there is so much more to her than that. A life that has spanned multiple countries, Beatrice definitely has a story to tell: teaching English in Taiwan, living in India and nearly becoming a monk, and becoming a yoga instructor after moving back to the States while continuing her break from Hollywood.

The acting bug eventually bit her again and she's been in countless independent and short films in the last few years. What's it like getting back into the swing of acting? How does she feel when she sees all the love for her character after all these years? What was it like playing the mother of yet ANOTHER horror icon?

From acting with Johnny Depp and Emilio Estevez to writing a book about Amanda Krueger, to co-writing and co-producing her first dramatic short known as "The Final Walk," there are lots of things to talk about with this well-traveled actress.

  • Episode 16: Adam Marcus

Fresh out of NYU, a young Adam Marcus was given the keys to the kingdom and had the task of directing Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, the ninth film in the Friday the 13th franchise. Perhaps one of the most polarizing entries of the series, Adam has heard both the highest amount of praise and the lowest amount of hate. What inspired Adam to start making films? What is it about writing strong female characters that he loves? How difficult is it when dealing with 19 producers on one film? How does it feel all these years later to see all the love and support of Jason Goes to Hell after dealing with all the negativity? We also jump into his love of art, French films, his production company known as Skeleton Crew, his upcoming documentary on Jason Goes to Hell (which he initially had no interest in making) known as Hearts of Darkness: The Making of the Final Friday, and much more!

  • Episode 15: James Fury

James Fury has quickly become one of my favorite independent pro wrestlers for many reasons: his confidence and cockiness on the microphone, his intensity in the ring, and the way he interacts with the crowd. Love him or hate him, he always gets the fans reacting.

A lot has happened for James since his early days as a backyard wrestler and we'll dive into that. What keeps him motivated to continue on this journey that's only three years in the making? How did he go from a young kid with self image issues to the confident man we see in the ring today? Where did this fury come from? What is it like running your own promotion?

Future goals, the importance of self promotion on social media, self confidence, and many other things are discussed in this at times quite inspiring interview.

  • Episode 14: Jewel De'Nyle

In the beginning of the new millennium, Jewel De'Nyle was taking adult films by storm. Winning the "Best New Starlet" was only the beginning as she won "Female Performer of the Year" the very next year. Known for her intense performances and no-nonsense attitude, Jewel seemed unstoppable. In less than 5 years in the business, she was already running her own production company.

    And then it ended.

After a business deal gone wrong, Jewel left the adult film world and disappeared for years. Now after all that time, she's made her presence known again on social media and is reuniting with her fan base as well as making new fans in the process.

In this interview, we'll learn how Jewel got started in adult entertainment. Did she prefer shooting pictorials over being on film? Why did she leave and what had she been doing while gone?

We'll also get to know her outside of adult films and get to know her personally. What's life like as a former beekeeper while now living in the deep dirty South. We'll also delve into her belief in the paranormal and some experiences she's had. There's even a discussion on her thoughts of artificial intelligence and today's generation of adult performers.

Get ready for perhaps the interview with the smallest filter yet as we talk to this proud member of a time in adult films that is long gone.

  • Episode 13: Insane Lane

In the mid 2000s, Insane Lane was literally carving a name for himself in the world of deathmatch wrestling. Working for well known companies like IWA Mid-South, IWA Deep South, and even occasionally Combat Zone Wrestling, Lane's reputation was growing. Frequently entering tournaments like The King of the Deathmatches, The Tournament of Death, and Carnage Cup (which he would eventually win), he was gaining a big following.

    And then he just disappeared.

He was gone from wrestling. His social media had disappeared. But then suddenly...he was back, only to vanish yet again.

Lane has once again returned to officially have the last match in his career.

In this interview, we're going to meet "Lane," the man behind "The Mental Messiah," and find out why he left multiple times only to now have his last moment in the sun. We'll get personal and focus on the mental health struggles he's dealt with. Have they been conquered? Why did he disappear a few years ago after what seemed to be a career rebirth, which included returning to both the King of the Deathmatches and Tournament of Death? Finally, why did he return for these two final matches and how were his opponents decided?

All of this plus stories about wrestling Mickie Knuckles, Tank, Spidar Boodrow, and Freakshow. We'll even hear his side of the story concerning a backstage incident with another deathmatch wrestling legend.

How does one process going from a world of razor wire boards and baseball bats covered in shark teeth to the simple life of just being "Lane?" Join us as we find out.

  • Episode 12: Night Taylor
There are content creators on YouTube and then there's Night from The Nightwatch Zone. Night is the perfect example of perseverance when it comes to his channel. From celebrating 1000 subscribers and then having it all taken away in the blink of an eye, Night proves that giving up isn't ever an option. Join us as we discuss having a growing channel, losing it, and then coming back with a vengeance by now having over 32,000 subscribers on his second channel. We'll also discuss what drives him to continue to make content, his love for film, martial arts, and how it feels to be a big part of bringing the Horror Community together on the platform when a lot of it was in shambles just a handful of years ago.
Be it Wes Craven or John Carpenter, Bruce Lee or Sylvester Stallone, there will be many things to discuss and we hope you join us for a deep dive as we get down to brass tacks into the life and mind of the man behind the curtain when it comes to The Nightwatch Zone.

  • Episode 11.5: Melissa Hill returns!
Bill O'Reilly said it best with "F**k it. We'll do it LIVE!" If you were witness to the last time Melissa and I got together, anything and everything went wrong. Still, we ran with it and a pretty damn good interview happened overall. From tech problems to dogs needing attention, we had to end the interview early. Please join us as we get back together to (hopefully) end the interview in a proper fashion. There were only a handful of planned questions left but who knows what will happen this time!

  • Episode 11: Melissa Hill
In the 1990s, Melissa Hill was one of the most sought after performers in adult entertainment. Winning three awards for her performances over the years, she was inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame in 2014.
In this interview, we"ll discuss Melissa's beginnings in the adult business, the time spent there, and then her retirement after approximately a decade.
We'll also discuss her return to civilian life and working as the host of her own Los Angeles based radio show for a time. Other subjects may include her relationships working with Trey Parker and her passionate love of caring for and rescuing animals.
I've known Melissa for around 7 years, but it's now time to actually get to know her and we may spill the beans on a possible return to live streaming and podcasting.
There are some dogs barking and tech issues in this one, but that's what happens when you go LIVE!
