You mean that hasn’t been ANY hoopla or celebrations? Other than a new number 1 but that’s no big deal anymore. OK then – we’ll put the show on right here. Micheal and Andrew celebrate 50 years of acrobatic daring and serial womanising with the dapper dan of the super hero set. See crusading lawyer kill off his alter ego, swinging Mike Murdock in #41. Watch as he defends a Vietnam Vet in one of the most underated Silver Age comics in #47. Marvel at the televised fight with Bullseye (admit it – we all had a copy on video) in #146 and be gobsmacked at the blatant attempts to curry favour with readers by featuring a tie in to a successful TV show when he fights the Hulk in #163. What’s that? You want an episode that harkens back to the glory days that maybe never were? Well, how lucky you are! Micheal and Andrew are here to kick it old skool with an episode that recalls those halcyon days when Andrew picked a comic and Micheal picked a comic. Andrew, predictably, goes for a classic Claremont/Byrne/Austin combo that is in no way influenced by the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy movie – STAR-LORD. Micheal zigs when he picks a classic Manga – Lone Wolf & Cub. It’s lovingly wrapped up in an email shaped bow and lashed with wrong headed opinions.

In another All-Reader-Request episode, Micheal and Andrew discuss another project they know nothing about. People seem to want us to talk about things of which we have no knowledge – weird. Anyway, this week it’s the turn of the Robots In Disguise, THE TRANSFORMERS, specifically the UK comics. What will Andrew and Micheal think of the ongoing war between the Decepticons and the Autobots? It could go either way but we’re pretty sure you won’t find the acronym TFUK as funny as they do.
