Maddy Villacruz joins us this week to speak about her experience growing up as an Asian American and how negative perceptions stem from a lack of understanding of Asian culture.

This week, we discuss our thoughts on forgiveness. Forgiveness is refusing to let your past rule your life any longer. Forgiveness does not mean re-establishing a relationship with a toxic person. It means being able to live your life free of their unhealthy influence, or your wounded reaction to it. It means taking the experience solely as a lesson learned, and letting go of unnecessary baggage that will weigh you down.
