Timothy Oulton, the man behind the worldwide furnishings brand of the same name, has come a long way from when he first worked in his father’s antique shop—selling what he at first thought of as “dead people’s stuff.” Talking with HFN’s Andrea Lillo this month in New York, the China-based Oulton discussed his furniture, including the newer Noble Souls brand—the customizable, ultra-comfortable furniture collection upholstered in vegetable-dyed fabric—the company’s passive Dome Home in China and his top-rated restaurant in Hong Kong, Gough’s on Gough.
