Somewhat stifling yet broad version of my reading intersects, i.e., I found this listen too halting at times; though, I now think the tougher listen for you would be worth it! I like the way I talk about the child’s experience of beginning to read. Having never had kids “from the get go”, I still have witnessed many children’s windows into “the intricate workings of the mind” of all our reading! Another reality I explain for you is what I really place hold here in My Tiny Book...-my more messy life! Literally. If you are interested...continue to listen as I clean it up! Also, for a less hesitant, much more direct explanation about the reality of reading, listen to my MLK day, earlier version of , “My Tiny Book on Reading. I so enjoy revising and republishing my Podcast 1 Episode 1 notes/“book” on reading and all my podcast notes. Sometimes I look to clean up “dit dit”, as another of my Reading Professors used to say, about misspellings and inefficient and /or ineffective wording. Otherwise, I got something better to say! Regardless, I am so proud of this “book on what you say reading is” you so insightfully asked us to write some 35 years ago, Dr. Harste. If you are reading this, I hope Doctor, as you construct your own meaning to My Tiny Book on Reading, you are proud of it, and of me, as well.
