Story Transcript:

Cy: Yn yr hwyrnos eiraog o'r gaeaf, roedd Gareth wedi cyrraedd ffin y Mynyddoedd Cambriaidd.
En: On the snowy winter's night, Gareth had reached the border of the Mynyddoedd Cambriaidd.

Cy: Roedd y gwynt yn aruthrol, gan daflu nifwch o gwmpas fel tape bach.
En: The wind was formidable, tossing snow around like small tapes.

Cy: O dan yr eira, roedd teml guddiedig yn enigma, hirboedlog ac yn addo cyfraddwadau dirgel.
En: Beneath the snow, a hidden temple lay in enigma, long-standing and promising mysterious revelations.

Cy: Gareth, archaeolegydd profiadol, safodd o flaen mynediad y deml.
En: Gareth, an experienced archaeologist, stood before the entrance of the temple.

Cy: Roedd goleuadau'r lleuad yn disgyn ar y cerrig, yn datgelu'r insgrifeniadau hynafol.
En: The moonlight fell on the stones, revealing ancient inscriptions.

Cy: Gwelai Gareth yr arysgrifau gyda berthynas bersonol dwfn—a gallai deimlo etifeddiaeth ei deulu yn ei alw.
En: Gareth perceived the engravings with a deep personal connection—he could feel his family's heritage calling to him.

Cy: Wrth gerdded i mewn, cofiodd Gareth hanes ei hynafiaid.
En: As Gareth walked inside, he remembered the history of his ancestors.

Cy: Siaradwyd y trysor yn gyfrinachol yn ystod clybiau teuluol.
En: The treasure was spoken of in secrecy during family gatherings.

Cy: Roedd wedi ei addewid y byddai un diwrnod yn gorffen eu genhadaeth.
En: He had been promised that one day he would complete their mission.

Cy: Ond nid Gareth yn unig oedd yn chwilio.
En: But Gareth was not the only one searching.

Cy: Roedd Morwenna, ei gyn-gydweithwraig, hefyd yno, awyddus i gymryd y trysor i'w chynlluniau eigiongeisiol.
En: Morwenna, his former colleague, was also there, eager to take the treasure for her own ambitious plans.

Cy: Bannes Gareth Morwenna ym mhen draw'r coridor, cysgod ei fflachlamp yn siglo.
En: Gareth spotted Morwenna at the end of the corridor, the shadow of her flashlight trembling.

Cy: Roedd ar ben draw y sialens o rwystr tryleuol.
En: She was at the end of a translucent obstacle challenge.

Cy: Roedd yn gorfod dewis.
En: He had to choose.

Cy: A fyddai'n wynebu'r gwrthdaro yn uniongyrchol, neu'n ceisio symud yn ddirgel?
En: Would he face the confrontation directly, or try to move stealthily?

Cy: Roedd llai nag oriau nes i'r aeafostwrset, ei bŵer fel hynny.
En: There were less than hours until the setting of the winter solstice, its power thus.

Cy: Gan addo eflygu ei du allan, dewisodd dull ysgafn Gareth.
En: Promising to outwit his adversary, Gareth opted for a light approach.

Cy: Roedd yn dal ei ben, gan glywed ochneidio'r bas a'r tŵr, esgynnodd ar hintebion pren llithrig a chyda chadarnrwydd gwyliodd Morwenna'n cerdded i borth arianog y deml.
En: He kept his head down, hearing the temple's audacious sighs as he ascended the slippery wooden steps and watched as Morwenna walked towards the temple's silvery portal.

Cy: Roedd y mynediad o'r ddau, cyn dechrau'r solstiwr, oedd yn bolareiddio'r gwrthdaro.
En: The access of both was polarizing the conflict, just before the solstice began.

Cy: Niweidio'r gweithred, sefyllodd Gareth a Morwenna o flaen y drysau'r etholedigaeth.
En: Thwarting the attempt, Gareth and Morwenna stood before the doors of the election.

Cy: Wrth i'r foment gyfraitha'r nidfid, dechreuodd byd Greiaidd y symbolau ddisgleirio.
En: As the moment reached a climax, the Greek symbols of the world began to glow.

Cy: Yn y diwedd, gweithredodd Gareth gyda lledrith benderfynol ac agorodd y drysau'r dyddiadau erchwl ac achubodd y gwrthrych.
En: In the end, Gareth acted with decisive magic and opened the doors of ancient dates, saving the object.

Cy: Morwenna, colli'r sefyllfa, trodd i ffwrdd, gwybod mai Gareth oedd cadw'r trysor a'i gyfrinachau.
En: Morwenna, losing the situation, turned away knowing that Gareth had retained the treasure and its secrets.

Cy: Wrth gryfhau y pŵer yr hyn a saethwyd gan Gareth, dewis o'r deml, byddai o'n gwybod ei fod wedi cyflawni ei addewid i'r teulu.
En: Strengthening the power created by Gareth, a choice of the temple, he knew he had kept his promise to the family.

Cy: Roedd yr araith yn ymgamp serchog: etifeddiaeth wedi'i gadw.
En: The speech was a heroic achievement: a heritage preserved.

Cy: Er i'r gwyn fachlach a'r gwynt chwyrlio yn dodwr certh ar ei ffordd cartref, roedd Gareth nawr yn deall pwysigrwydd ei draddodiad a'i enedigaeth, teimlai'r cydwybod fel taregen, cadwodd y gorffennol o dan ei gwylio'n dyfal.
En: Despite the fierce gusts and the swirling wind creating stern obstacles on his way home, Gareth now understood the importance of his tradition and his birthright, feeling conscience like a charm, keeping watch over the past.

Cy: Roedd wedi dychwelyd, wedi dod o hyd i'r heddwch yr hwn a cherddodd ei daith gyda boddhad llwyr.
En: He had returned, found the peace for which he had journeyed, and walked his path with complete satisfaction.
