High Five: The Podcast

We are inevitable. Even though Q thought by dusting J in our last episode he could move forward and take over the world, he was sorely mistaken. Not only does J return to talk Avengers: Endgame with Q, he brings along the rest of the Fivengers, Amanda and Haley, to do battle in the biggest review episode we've had yet! Join us as we figure out time travel, talk the hunkiest Avengers, and finally decide who's a bigger douche: Captain America or Superman.

A special movie calls for a special High Five: The Podcast. J even records the whole episode live from the Quantum Realm! Because, podcasters gotta do what podcasters gotta do, and on this episode J & Q gotta break down the Top 5 kids' cartoons of the 1990s. We dust off our "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" vinyls and find spend a few hours bathing in the nostalgia of the Golden Age of pre-pubescent programming. What better of a way to fill the void of J’s absence while on vacation, than to revisit an episode with an absent Q. That’s right kids…its time for another High Five: Replay! SO strap on those Mickey ears and listen to an episode from the vault where past tense J and Amanda take you on a magical tour of Disney, while they present tense go on an actual magical tour of Disney World. I’m not Jealous. You’re jealous.

While Q takes a leave of absence to teach sign language to kangaroos, J is joined by special guest, and Disney expert, Amanda as they explore the Top 5 Animated Disney Movies of all time (minus Pixar, because those aren't Disney, I don't care what you say, shut up). Will your favorites make the list? Probably, but there are just SO many to choose from. How in the Magical Kingdom can they narrow it down to only five?

As Q finishes up his sabbatical in the Outback running a start-up where he delivers hot meals to wallabies with near-sightedness, J and Amanda talk Disney myths (with boobs!) and finally figure out why Beast never learned to eat with a spoon in that damned castle. Let's talk Disney in this Very Special Episode!

It's finally here, the comic culmination of over a decade of Marvel movies. Today officially marks the release day of Q and J discussing the entire MCU Infinity Saga!! Oh, and that Avengers: Endgame movie comes out too. Even though it's pretty annoying that Kevin Feige and Marvel are releasing their competing property on the same day as our episode release, it does give us the ability to see all 23 films for our discussion, so we guess we won't send the Cease and Desist we've been drafting up.

This is such a huge moment for comic book fans, movie fans, superhero movies and Hollywood in general. J and Q dive into how the MCU changed the landscape of cinematic universes and talk about every movie in the MCU so far. It's such a big undertaking, we're breaking it up into two parts, just like the movies, and will be assembling our super team along the way. Don't miss this podcasting milestone! Oh, and also probably see Avengers: Endgame, we guess.

Have you heard the one about the babysitter where the call was coming from inside the house? What about the one about eating Pop Rocks and Coke together? I swear that last one's true, my sister's boyfriend's Aunt's roommate listened to it and told my sister!

This week gets scary, but there are some lovable urban legends mixed in as well. Which film do you think will take the top prize? Does the legend of Bigfoot win out over the hook-hand killer? Maybe there will be a fight to the death between the sewer croc and the crazy hitchhiker. Either way, this is one episode that is destined to become legend. Today marks the official release of Kölsch and Widmyer's remake of Pet Sematary, so we celebrate by going on a trip through history to visit King's coke-addled 80s adventures, the 90s King dramas, and the ongoing Kingassainse to discuss which films worked, which ones didn't and which ones still make us make a Cujo in our tighty whiteys.

We cap this week by creating your definitive list of the Top 5 Stephen King Adaptations of all time! These are the ones that took the story King wrote and presented them the best and most faithfully on-screen.
