We are also proud to announce that Dick has become a Certified Peer Counselor and a Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist-II through Washington State and the National Anger Management Association (NAMA), and has begun his college career to obtain degrees needed to further counsel Peers. Over the course of this year we will be discussing some serious topics focusing on Mental Health Awareness and discussing some serious and profound topics to titillate the brains. While we fully intend on keeping our Comedy base, we will be touching more on serious topics thanks to the addition of our newest Co-Host, Bambi!

HELLO AND WELCOME BACK!!! On Season 4, episode 12 there unfortunately isn't any music! The intro and outro have been cut as this was a fast, unplanned segment! I wanted to get this out asap! The importance of Mental Health Awareness depends upon this message! For far too long Mental Health workers have been keeping a "revolving door" with mental health patients. Rather than teaching them self help tips and tools such as "Natural Supports" and different exercises for breathing to help regulate ones self in times of anxiety attacks, they keep the client in a dependent state which requires the client to feel that they NEED the therapist or counselor long term. Of course, I understand the business aspect of it. However, PEOPLE aren't business. Mental Health therapist and counselors should begin altering their terminology and using the "Road OF Recovery" rather than the "Road TO recovery". This will be the basis for my goal of obtaining my Masters degree in Psychology and of working my way up in the Mental Health field to become an advocate for change and showing that there may have been leaps and bounds in the past, however we have many more yet to discover.
