Klein (previously spelt "Cline") has Austin brainwashed into believing he is Clint. A mysterious force begins to reveal itself, pulling the strings of a far more sinister conspiracy.

Has the multiverse finally begun to crack open or are we just really high… on Hollywood?

One thing is certain: Klein and Austin cannot agree on this episode whatsoever.

Mobius' mustache finally grows on Austin... literally, and it won't come off for some reason.

Clint suspects this mustachioed Austin could, in fact, be a Variant and calls the TVA to investigate (despite the fact that Austin willingly helped conceal Clint's Variant, Cline).

Much to Clint's shock, however, HE is the Variant. A fight ensues.

The result? A multiverse-wide Nexus Event.

Clint and Cline escape. Austin is left to wonder if he'll ever shave again. Loki discovers himself.

While Clint and I continue our review of Marvel's LOKI (2021), we also diverge into some speculation about what the future holds for the MCU and it's exploration or reinterpretation of characters we've seen before (i.e. the X-Men).

Also, Clint bumps into his Variant, named Cline, and the two of them hitting it off sets in motion a chain of multiversal destruction hitherto unseen or dreamt of.

We're gonna need all the luck we can get.

Clint and Austin finally take a stab (*huehue*) at the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with the first two episodes of Kate Herron's "Loki" (2021).

As per usual, mischief and mayhem ensue.

After spending a week in a future where AI dominate the planet and have enslaved humanity, Austin and Clint decide to research a "historical document" to uncover a way to avert the robopocalypse.

Enter... "The Mitchell's Vs. The Machines" (2021).

Would you break into a zombie-infested Las Vegas bank to secure a $50 million payload? Take on Zeus in Olympus? DEFY THE VERY GODS THEMSELVES?!

Clint and Austin sit down to discuss what worked and what didn't in the film, Snyder's creative use of horror movie tropes, and how he presents a fascinating evolution of the zombie genre - all while paying homage to everything that has come before.

Lights on!

Austin blinks rapidly as the lights sting his eyes. Still groggy from the drugs, he takes a step. He stumbles. A cord is torn from the shotgun collar which is fastened around his neck. Austin can hear the unnerving sound of the cord winding and he immediately realizes what is happening.

"I beat you!" Austin shouts angrily through blubbering tears. "I've beaten your game. What more do you want from me?!"

More lights turn on to reveal Clint sitting on a tricycle dressed and painted up to look like Billy the Puppet: "That wasn't your test Austin. It was mine."

The games continue and yet they've still only just begun...

Clint and Austin wake up in a bathroom that smells like the inside of a rotten whale carcass smothered in moldy butter then left to bake in the sun for three days before birds added their guano to it and a few dead fish fell inside the whale’s blowhole. A toy puppet appears out of the shadows and a voice seems to echo from it: “I want to play a game. In the Blu-Ray player before you sits the Saw Collection(™), encompassing the Saw franchise from Saw I to Saw: The Final Chapter. Watch every film in the series before Spiral: From the Book of Saw comes out on May 14th and you might just discover a way out of that bathroom. Otherwise, your location will remain a secret, your bodies will never be recovered nor will anyone hear you scream as you die a slow, oxygen-less death, and this bathroom will become your tomb. Austin and Clint begin having strange nightmares about an ancient civilization known as the Abkani. Christian Slater mysteriously appears to warn them of a rift in dimensions that only he can seal. Meanwhile, Uwe Boll (director of "Alone in the Dark" (2006)) secretly plots the comeuppance of our pot-smoking podcasters. Will the Abkani prophecy come true or was Christian Slater lying about that 'hieroglyph' in the KFC parking lot?
