Are you trapped in your own world?
Or are you clouded by your own perceptions and failing to appreciate the things and people around you?
In this #MondayWithMarcus episode, I talk about the importance of having the right perspectives and not staying trapped in your own little bubble. The world has so much to offer if we're willing to step out and embrace it.
In the last episode, Daniel talked about 5 key leadership principles out of the 30 they uncovered. Today, I dive into another 3 interesting principles that caught my eye and how it can apply to you. Check out all of the 30 principles at www.firsttimeleadership.com.
Are you a leader?
Do you think you are a good leader?
Or are you clueless about the notion of leadership?
In this episode, we have Daniel, a partner at First Time Leadership, where he helps First Time Leaders to lead successfully by enabling them to shift from an employee mentality to a leader mindset.
Despite working in the corporate world for many years, Daniel had struggled to understand the meaning of leadership and how he could become a good leader when he first had to take on a leadership position. That sparked his journey to uncover the concept of leadership.
Daniel brought across many interesting perspectives which challenged my own views about leadership. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and I believe everyone will benefit from hearing Daniel talk about leadership in a very clear and relatable way.

Leadership. What exactly does it mean to be a leader?
I gave some perspective of what leadership means to me, and the shifts in mindset that I've gone through in my life. Let me know your thoughts on leadership as well!
"Just put yourself out there. You never know what might happen".
Are you thinking of starting something up with your friends? If so, today's episode will be especially interesting for you.
In this episode, we have Nicholas, who started a community app that creates micro earning opportunities for students, housewives and elderlies, called Outside.
While Outside is his latest venture out of his many others, he has stuck with the same group of friends for around 12 years now.
He'll be telling us more about his journey, how he manages his team, and some of the struggles he faced.
I really admire his mindset and perspective from his sharing and I think youths will have a lot to learn from him regardless of whether you're an entrepreneur.
Be sure to listen in to this episode, and visit @Outside to learn more about it.
