Fargo Shanley kicker Emmett Kenney and Bismarck Century lineman Andrew Leingang will continue their football careers at the Division I level in 2021. 

Kenney made a state-record 58-yard field and will be attending Stanford University in the fall. Kenney goes over his family connection to Stanford, the journey from a soccer player to high school kicker, and how he recruited Standford. 

Leingang (8:50 mark) is a two-way player for Bismarck Century as he plays on the offensive and defensive line. Leingang is heading to Kansas State for college and describes why Manhattan, Kansas was the right choice and what he learned at Century with Chase Miller.

May-Port CG and Tri-State combined for 1,050 yards of offense on Friday night from Jerome Berg Field in Mayville. 

MPCG senior quarterback Sawyer Satrom finished with 410 total yards and 7 touchdowns. He rushed for 310 yards and 5 scores. 

Tri-State (3-2 overall) senior quarterback Derick Carl had 355 total yards and 6 touchdowns. 

The two teams combined for 70 points in the third quarter. 

The Patriots (5-0 overall) won 74-48 over the Tigers. MPCG scored touchdowns on 8 of their 9 possessions in the second half.

Fargo Davies will be under the guidance of first-year head coach Wayne Werremeyer for the 2020 season. 

Werremeyer has been in the Eagles system for the past seven years as an assistant, before Jason Thielges stepped down in December.

Reid Hartness returns under center for Davies. Hartness passed for 954 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing for 603 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. 

The Eagles open the season at Grand Forks Central on Friday, August 28.

The Fargo Shanley Deacons lost three games in 2019 by a combined 9 points, which left them on the outside looking in for the playoffs in 2019. 

Shanley head coach Troy Mattern talks with Chase Miller on what the Deacons learned playing in Class 3A for the first time since 2008 last year, expectations heading into the season and COVID-19 guidelines. 

The Deacons open the year against Fargo South on Friday, August 28 from Sid Cichy Stadium. 

Quarterback Cooper Mattern and kicker Emmet Kenney return for their seasons. 

Kenney has received offers to kick at NDSU and USD.

High school football practices begin for North Dakota Class 3A teams on Monday. 

Fargo South head coach Tyler Kosel previews the upcoming season for the Bruins and how South is handling the new COVID-19 guidelines. 

South opens the year on Friday, August 28 at Fargo Shanley. 

North Dakota State University commit Sibomana Enock returns for his senior season. Enock was named an All-State defensive back in his junior season. 

Kosel enters his fourth season as a head coach and has compiled a 17-13 overall record. 

The Bruins have made the quarterfinal round of the playoffs every year since 1996, with their last state championship coming in 2013.

South finished 6-4 overall and lost to Bismarck Century 23-7 in the quarterfinals.

Fargo Davies was set to play Bismarck High on Friday, March 13 in the semifinals, before the State Class A boys basketball tournament was suspended with the coronavirus. 

Davies head coach Bart Manson talks with Chase Miller and describes how he explained the situation to his team. 

Davies graduates seven seniors and from a squad that compiled a 23-2 overall record.
