Joe Lochamy's series on Paul's letter to the churches in the region of Galatia continues this week from the middle of chapter 3 and into chapter 4. This is a part of the New Testament in a section called "Pauline Epistles".

In this 13th lesson in the series, Bill reviews the events of the important meeting of key church leaders and teachers in Jerusalem. The church is very new in its establishment following Christ's death and resurrection, and changes made people joyous and eager, or terrified and uncertain. This meeting helped to clarify the major changes and allowed the church's growth to continue. In chapter 12, the stirring of persecution by civil and Jewish leaders continued to grow, putting pressure on the apostles to curtail or quit their preaching. Of course, that did not stop the courageous believers.
