Highlander Rewatched

When Duncan discovers that his immortal friend Carl has become a carjacker, Mac must help Carl rediscover his dreams while protecting him from a racist Watcher cop. The Rewatchers chat about the world's worst drug dealers, the show's longest driving montage, and Mac's whitest reactions to racism.

In a very special bonus episode, the Rewatchers sit down with the immortal Adrian Paul to discuss the evolution of Duncan MacLeod, what it was like to take over the mantle of the Highlander from Christopher Lambert, the rigors of shooting, charity work, and so much more! Don't forget to subscribe so you can join the Rewatchers every week for more interviews and insights as the gang examines a new chapter of the Highlander universe.

When a dangerous gang threatens the production of a movie that improbably involves Duncan and Charlie, Mac must take on the Tong and save the shoot. The Rewatchers gear up for a philosophy-off with Duncan, pick up some aggressively overpriced shades, and reluctantly revisit the Zone.

When Duncan's old flame returns to kickstart a counterfeiting operation that she first attempted in 1930s Germany, Mac has no choice but to defend her from Nazis and rogue FBI agents. The Rewatchers suit up in some well-hidden fencing gear to discuss Richie's new training regimen, Duncan's own special kind of physics, and the power of vaguely incriminating video tapes.

When a Watcher is murdered in the titular "Zone" (a poorly named Seacouver tent city) on the orders of a gaudy mortal criminal named Canaan, Joe enlists Mac's help to stop him. The Rewatchers struggle through the most maligned episode of the series by getting in touch with Charlie's roots, gawking at Canaan's wardrobe, and trying to figure out why Joe is even in this episode.

When Richie thwarts an attempt to assassinate the British ambassador with one of Rico's famous chili dogs, he must learn to fight before the immortal Sheena Easton takes his head. The Rewatchers grapple with Tessa's departure (and Mac's whiskey fueled rebound), laugh as Richie gets pummeled, and learn Sheena Easton's special move in a sweet montage.

After Tess is captured by a sadistic Watcher, Duncan must piece together her whereabouts with the help of psychic porn star Traci Lords. The Rewatchers discuss Ms. Lord's eclectic filmography, follow Duncan on a magic fueled non-mystery, and shed a tear to Dust in the Wind.

The Rewatchers sit down with Amanda Wyss, Highlander's own Randi McFarland, to discuss the atmosphere on the season one set, the future she envisioned for character, what it's like working with stars like Adrian Paul and Joan Jett.

Duncan must help his old pal(s) Michael Moore (the immortal doctor, not the filmmaker) track a serial killer who is literally back from the grave and seeking revenge. The Rewatchers enjoy a sweaty first meeting with gym owner Charlie DeSalvo, do a barrel roll through the industrial complex in Duncan's backyard, and pour one out for the noble fallen Watcher -- Josh.

When Duncan attends a photography showcase featuring his flame from the 1920's and his emotionally damaged immortal friend Gregor, he must save them both from angst and crummy art. The Rewatchers get amped over this country's most souped-up road monsters, discuss whether immortal lives have meaning, and compare the power of swords to pipes and jackets.
