Pacific Crest Trail is one of the long trails in the U.S. (at 2653 miles) making up 2nd longest of the Triple Crowns of Hiking.  Rich Daileader hiked the AT, ten years ago & now he’s talking to the Outdoor Guys about hiking thru the 25 national forests and 7 national parks along the PCT.  He is a previous Storyteller at Jesse Brown’s, too.  That next event is May 16th, 2019.

Women on The Fly is a group that has existed for over twenty years in Carolinas.  Its mission is to promote & help ladies getting into the sport of fly fishing.  Linda Hickle has helped lead this mission & she joins the Outdoor Guys from Jesse Brown’s in talking about women fly fishing & an upcoming event at Jesse Brown’s on April 24th.  If you’re a women (or a man that is interested in more women fly fisher) then be sure to sign up.

The Masters Golf Tournament is an iconic, American event.  Carolinians & more travel to the small, Georgia city of Augusta to watch golf.  This event has only been played since the 1930s but helps welcome spring & we’ll find out about players, technology & it’s impact on the season of golf with our neighbor at Sharon Corners, Rob Gallagher from Club Champion Golf.

Festivals are plenty in the Carolinas with the end of Rock Hill’s “Come-See-Me Festival” & the upcoming “Tuck Fest” at the US National Whitewater Center.  It’s a great time to be local in the Charlotte-area.
