There are several long trails that have gained fame through hikes, books and film. There is of course the AT that travels N/S for almost 2200 miles, there is the PCT that bookends the west but did you know that we have a 77 mile gem right here in the Carolinas? The upcountry of SC boasts the foothills trail that goes from Oconee State Park to Table Rock State Park & we learn about the trail, its history, the state parks that bookend it & the waterfalls and Lake Joccassee.
