Shepherd’s big win over East Stroudsburg has them firmly in “win and you’re in” territory for the playoffs. We look at the scenarios and rankings to decide if a home game is still within reach and complain about the NCAA’s new streaming setup for the D2 playoffs. We also jump back into the NFL after week 10 and do a vibe check on Caleb Williams after the narrative machine blew up on him this week.

The NFL trade deadline was this week and seemingly in response, 100 weird things happened this week. Half the league’s QB situations are in shambles. The Bears were buyers? The Raiders fired everyone. We give our 10,000 foot view of the league at midseason. Shepherd…brother…what happened? Also James Harden is finally a Clipper.

The Ringer’s Steven Ruiz returns to fend off tomatoes from Shepherd fans and give his actually positive breakdown of Tyson Bagent in his first NFL start, as well as addressing some other assorted topics across the league such as Lamar, Sam Howell, Matt Canada, and of course, Brock Purdy. Then we give our NBA season preview, which was somehow mostly about Wizards ticket prices.

The MLB playoffs are upon us. The Rays are big fat losers. We actually talk about baseball for real now, can you believe it? We look into the Orioles’ chances to go far in October before jumping into a potentially grim October for the Steelers. Ravens look good though! Our brain was empty after that Shepherd game on Saturday, we explain, and look at the postseason forecast for the 4-1 Rams. Also: the Celtics got Jrue Holiday! We dip a toe into NBA talk as the season sneaks up on us.

After a cruel summer waiting for Damian Lillard to get traded, the Heat somehow lost out on the sweepstakes and Giannis and Dame are new romantics now, but it’s the Blazers that look like the foolish ones. Oh and I guess Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are a thing now. You know we have a full breakdown. The Orioles are upon Clinchmas Eve too. And…could there be some changes coming in the Bears QB room? And can Shepherd hold on to the damn football?

The Rams are here. After 2 questionable weeks, we’ve figured out the 2023 Shepherd football team: it’s the same very good football as usual. It was a great sports weekend overall with the Orioles, Backyard Brawl, and NFL all panning out in our favor. Btw…what the hell is happening with the Chicago Bears.

It just flies by. Shepherd is 2-0! How impressed and/or concerned are we through 2 weeks? Also: Shepherd is getting a new AD; we give our thoughts. The NFL is officially back too and we already have a Jets problem again.

Welcome to game week. College football is BACK! Just 3 days from Shepherd’s opener, we focus on how to maximize the Shepherdstown and Ram Stadium gameday vibes, the atmosphere, and buddy we have ideas. Tyson Bagent is officially QB2 in Chicago, what a world. Unfortunately the Orioles vibes are worse, as Felix Bautista could be done for the year. We will find God himself to fix this if need be.
