Football is so back. After media day and a scrimmage, we’re just 10 days away from Shepherd football. Our resident D2 football expert Russell Goodacre is back to help us preview the 2023 season, as well as taking a look at all the hype Tyson Bagent garnered after preseason game 2. Also we check back in with the Orioles (the bullpen is still bad).

The boys are back in town, in person, to watch Tyson Bagent’s NFL pre-season debut and give an update on the Shepherd Rams in pre-season before going in on John Angelos for the Kevin Brown situation and…everything else involving his Orioles ownership.

The Orioles made trades for pitching! Are we satisfied…meh. We give a State of the Franchise address for the O’s before attempting to solve the RB Problem in the NFL. This episode syncs up perfectly with the Barbie movie, trust us.

We’re on our way to Camden Yards to watch the red hot Orioles try to get into a share of first place in the AL East against the Dodgers. They’re so close to being a real title contender but they’re a juuuust a couple pieces away. We discuss those pieces. You know who’s a good piece? Shohei Ohtani. Will LA trade him? Should they? How Joever is it for the Angels? (very)

Damian Lillard listened to us and finally requested a trade, and boy he REALLY requested one. Nick Arguelles joins us to give his Wizards thoughts, bully Dame for doing a total 180 and demanding a trade to Miami, and check in on James Harden. Then Producer Garett gives us another great Top 10 list, this time his top 10 GOATs. Don’t follow us on Threads, we’re not there.

It’s Dame Time (time for Dame to get on with it and request a trade). Let’s cut to the chase and get this trade done. Much like the Celtics and Warriors did this week getting Porzingis and Chris Paul. Eat Golden Corral.

We willed a Bradley Beal trade into existence, just to the wrong team and the Wizards got absolutely nothing for him. Did the Suns actually make themselves any scarier with the move? Are the Wizards actually fine now? We look at the Beal trade, along with where the Heat go after not making a trade, and assess why the Blazers are still holding on hope with Lillard like the Wizards were.

The Nuggets won the NBA Finals in about as convincing of fashion as we expected and there’s no signs they’ll slow down. Nikola Jokic may already be a top 20 player of all time. Where do we stand moving forward? What can the Heat do from here? Trading for Bradley Beal sounds fun. The Wizards are unserious anyway. And there’s other NBA offseason silliness ahead.

The NBA Finals have arrived but we kind of previewed it last week (and nearly looked silly) so we open the show talking about important matters: television. The NBA Finals are nearly set with the Nuggets awaiting probably the up 3-1 Miami Heat. Is Jokic simply too powerful to be stopped? LeBron floated the idea of retiring but it’s hard to buy right now. It’s a good excuse though to litigate Producer Garett’s top 10 NBA players of all time; an absurd list that inevitably breaks down into a Jordan vs. LeBron discussion. Then we get Garett’s top 10 NFL QBs of all time, another fun one.
