Noah Thomas has decided to step away and pursue his lifelong dream of being an aspirational mommy-blogger, so  we got ESPN's Victor Cruz (who we could only afford for 20 minutes), fashion editor-at-large Corey Stokes, and Kevin McIntosh Jr.—Karla Otto's director of PR services, VIP dressing, and go-to publicist for guys like Virgil Abloh—to try to fill his Size 7 shoes.

Vic's got a lot going on—in addition to his post-NFL life at ESPN, he just launched a collaborative sneaker with Pierre Hardy. The VCI (pronounced VC-one) comes in three colorways inspired by different years in his life. He talks about the concept behind the shoe, and then Kevin gives some insight on the PR side of the fashion industry, including some tips on how you can finesse your way into an OFF-WHITE fashion show (hint: be cool and slip him an old-school bag of money with the "$" logo on the side).

Bristol Studio is one of the up and coming brands out of LA making waves for their basketball inspired streetwear and adidas collabs. Designer Luke Tadashi stops by on the latest Dropcast to speak on his upcoming projects, and gives young designers some advice on what moves they should be making to gain momentum and grow their following.

Since Jian DeLeon was in Chicago spitting facts on a panel,  Jeff Carvalho filled in along with host Noah Thomas. They discuss a wide range on topics, from the tragic death of Nipsey Hussle to Supreme's unexpected collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, and if this collection means a new day for JPG.

Luke also admits his reason for diving into fashion was because he realized his dream of being an NBA star was definitely not happening, but managed to still make sure basketball was very much a part of his life in some capacity. He went on to stress to all of his fans and other creatives know that just because you may not be able to do exactly what you want, still find away to stay involved with that passion.

Late last year we went to Shanghai, China to experience Innersect, a two-day celebration of all things sneaker, streetwear, and fashion founded by Edison Chen of CLOT. While there, we co-hosted a panel with Bodega and Reebok, who revealed several Innersect-exclusive collaborations.

It was there we met Wes Chen, a hip-hop head and host of  “Xi Ha Gong Yuan”—aka The Park—arguably China’s most mainstream hip-hop show where he interviews artists, plays tracks, and talks about the latest happenings in the scene.

Chen was instrumental to the rise of artists like the Chengu-based Higher Brothers, and is also the host of a documentary series documenting the rise of China’s trap scene. We stopped by his Shanghai studio to get a brief look at how hip-hop spread in China, the difficulties American artists may face while touring the country, and in contrast—the difficulties faced by Asian artists when it comes to breaking into the American music industry.
