Every day, we get to make a choice to fear the worst or hope for the best. We have the opportunity to grow in our faith with Jesus in control and strong enough to get us through the storms of life.

Jesus sets the order straight on how to respond to cold cultural rejection and the myriad of rising criticisms. Love gains the space, time and influence that nothing else can or ever will.

It’s time to go! Jesus wants us to have a Holy Spirit night vision that causes us to see through the darkness of this falling world and complete our mission of expanding the kingdom of God through the preaching of the gospel and transformation of lives, cities and nations.

When it comes to thinking about the end of our lives, many of us face a high level of insecurity around the idea of our eternal destiny. The Bible gives us both promises and instructions that can give us confidence in the eternal life and destination that Jesus has purchased for us. When we allow grace and obedience to meet, we will find our true security.

There’s so much more to being a disciple of Jesus than getting into heaven. Not only have we been freed from the penalty of sin and death, but now we are called to be freed from the power and lasting results of that sin. This overcoming life can start here and now.

Growth in the Kingdom of God is not like the growth of this world. So often we are tempted to elevate ourselves in order to appear approved by God. Instead, let’s focus on what brings lasting growth and favour from Him - a soft and humble heart that is dependent on Him.

The Bible has a lot to say about governments and leaders, which isn’t always reflected by what we see is our nation today. We need to be Kingdom people first, asking God for a radical restoration over our land - and it starts in us first. A genuine reformation of people will lead to the reformation of our nation.

Repentance is more than saying sorry; it’s not about crocodile tears, but a genuine broken heart for the wrong we’ve committed against God and a desire to follow His ways. Repentance is not about being afraid of God, but seeing that we’ve wronged the One who loves us so deeply. It involves not only a change in action but also a change of mind and heart.

One of these things is not like the other. As disciples and followers of Jesus, we should continually be looking and sounding different as we become more like Him. This is an invitation to you to learn how to walk wholeheartedly after Jesus who will satisfy you more than the world ever could.
